Palsana village is 25 Km away from Surat City. Palsana is a
Taluka village. The population of Palsana is
nearly 10000. peoples From Different regions Stays here. There are many temples in Palsana like Ganpati
Temple, Lakshmi Narayan Temple, Radha Krishna Temple, Lord Shiva Temple etc. I visited many villages in
India, but there I did not see the temple of Lord Ganesha. But In Palsana
there is a Ganpati Temple.

| Ganesh Chaturthi Festival |
The Ganpati Temple is Located at Vyas Street, Palsana, Gujarat-394315. This temple was Built More Than 100 Years ago. At That time Gayakwad Sarkar distributed 5 "Murtis" of Lord Ganesha all over Gujarat. Those Murtis were distributed in a way, 2 in Vadodara, 1 In Vyara from Tapi district, 1 in Navsari and 1 in Palsana. In this temple the Murti of Lord Ganesha is given by Gayakwad Sarkar to Mr Krushnarao Malharao Dani. Then after they Started Worship of Lord Ganesha. Since then the 5th Generation of Mr Krushnarao Malharao Dani continues the Tradition. The structure of this temple is very old.

Festival of Ganesh Chaturthi
Celebrated every year. The Festival is celebrated in Very traditional and typical
Maharashtrian Style. During Ganpati festival, the whole temple is decorated with different creative ideas. Duration of the festival depends on Tithis from Panchang. 1st Day they do Pranpratistha of Lord Ganesha’s Murti. During this festival, every day different devotional programs are organized like Bhajan Sandhya, Hanuman Chalisa Pathan etc. According to Tithis Gauri (Sisters of Lord Ganesh), Sthapna is done. During this festival they sings Bhajans every day
in morning and in evening. At the end of this Festival, people makes Visarjan of Murtis into the pond or into the river. People Make Visarjan of Lord Ganesha's Murti with lots of hope. People
think that Lord Ganesha Take all their sorrow with them and give Happiness to People. People take Murti of Lord Ganesha into Palkhi for Visarjan.
In Short, It is the best festival ever to celebrate in Palsana. It is the best holly place in Surat District.
